Assistant Maintenance

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician to support the property management team at The Crest brook Apartments in Burleson, TX. The role involves maintaining building systems, handling maintenance requests, and ensuring resident satisfaction.

• Execute assistant maintenance duties including completing work orders, cleaning grounds, and preparing vacant units.
• Maintain common areas by picking up trash, sweeping curbs, and cleaning dumpster sites.
• Keep workshop, utility, and mechanical rooms clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Track inventory, place orders for materials, and submit receipts to the property manager and maintenance supervisor.
• Respond to on‑call requests within thirty minutes during designated hours.
• Communicate with residents professionally, addressing their concerns and gathering feedback.

• HVAC and pool certification.
• Proficiency with a variety of tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and architectural documents.
• Experience managing bids and supervising outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory files and supplies records.
• Ability to lift 50‑75 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team‑player mindset and excellent problem‑solving abilities.

Typical schedule:

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with shared emergency on‑call hours.

• Competitive wage of $20‑$23/hour, depending on experience, plus shared renewal commission.
