• Works under the supervision of a licensed speech‑language pathologist.
• Carrying out the plan of care that provides speech and language disorder services under the supervision of a speech‑language pathologist which can be safely administered in the client home as prescribed by the physician.
• Maintaining current knowledge of client’s condition through observation; documenting any changes in client condition to the client file, and immediately reporting any changes in client condition or response to therapy to the supervising speech‑language pathologist.
• Implementing changes in the plan of care when written by the supervising speech‑language pathologist and authorized by the client’s physician.
• Consulting with the supervising speech‑language pathologist regarding the client’s progress and response to treatments.
