Medical Assistant/Clinical Service Specialist, Full Time – Burleson, TX
Vivo Infusion is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant/Clinical Service Specialist to join our team at our new facility in Burleson, TX. In this role you will welcome patients, assist medical staff, and deliver safe, compassionate care in accordance with all external and internal guidelines and regulations.
Compensation- $20.00 - $24.00/hour
- 5% annual bonus potential, paid quarterly

Primary Responsibilities- Perform a variety of patient‑care activities in accordance with standards of practice.
- Room clinic patients in person or virtually and update patient charts with the required information.
- Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- Provide administrative and front‑end support: greet patients, assist with scheduling, manage phone calls, process payments.
- Oversee and ensure efficient turnover of exam rooms.
- Assist providers in the exam room as requested.
- Collect, prepare, and submit ordered patient lab specimens as directed.
- Assist the Patient Services team obtaining prior authorizations for prescribed treatments and documentation.
- Triage patient phone calls and messages and document them appropriately.
- Order and manage supplies under the direction of the manager.
- Disinfect and stock the exam rooms.
- Assist in obtaining records required for the patient’s chart.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, reporting patient issues as needed throughout the treatment day.
- Follow company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control.
- Assist with proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company and patient records; adhere to HIPAAP.
- Communicate schedule changes to the team and assist with rescheduling patients.
- Manage incoming mail and deliveries.
Education and Experience
- High‑school graduate or equivalent (required).
- Medical Assistant certification (preferred).
- CPR/BLS (required prior to start date).
- One year of experience working within a clinical environment (required).
- One year in an administrative, patient‑facing, or customer‑service role (required).
- Phlebotomy and lab processing skills (preferred).
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to communicate professionally and effectively with staff, patients, and physicians.
- Computer skills for electronic record‑keeping.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, & procedure manuals.

Work environment and physical demands: employees are regularly exposed to work near moving medical equipment, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level moderate. Vision requirements include fine vision, color differentiation, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employees must stand, walk and talk, hear, smell, and use manual dexterity.
