Job DescriptionMonday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities- Leads and mentors customer service representatives and transcriptionists, ensuring they meet job requirements.
- Coordinates and schedules pathology procedures such as FNA, bone marrow, and EBUS.
- Manages daily requisition audits, resolves issues, and ensures audits are sent to medical records.
- Coordinates supply orders and ensures specimen center orders are entered weekly.
- Contacts internal and external customers for follow-up on orders and issues.
- Provides back-up coverage to transcription and customer service representatives and runs errands within the hospital.
- Responds to subpoenas and other requests for information under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.
- Completes special projects as directed by laboratory leadership.
- Schedules and coordinates meetings and seminars involving multiple departments.
- Provides word processing support for typing, scanning, formatting, and output of documents.
- Tracks testing and supply volumes from clients and reports data to the Outreach Laboratory Manager.
- Identifies and corrects client account service issues, alerting the manager to potential problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
