  Saturday and Sunday 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (required)
• Associate Degree (preferred)
• 1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT-CT (required)
• No experience with ARRT-CT (required)
• ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (required)
• ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) (required) or within 12 months if 1 year radiology technician experience
• CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologists Sonography by TDH or TMB (required)
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care (required)

A Texas Health CT Tech is responsible for explaining procedures to patients or guardians/family members prior to and during exams, imaging the correct anatomical area, and performing complex procedures in an age‑appropriate manner.

• Perform both Diagnostic and CT Imaging for Emergency Room patients.
• Serve patients ranging from infancy to geriatric.
• Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, and make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed.
• Correctly send and transfer images to PACS.
• Assess and recognize patients’ emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions.
• Operate, care for, and maintain equipment.
• Prepare room for examination (e.g., suction, oxygen, supplies).
• Administer contrast media and other medications following medication administration guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and room sanitary standards between patients (injectors, table tops, floors).
