Job Title:
Senior Construction Manager (Owners Rep)
Location: Burleson, Texas (100% onsite)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6-12 months)
Pay Rate: $65-$70/hour
Job Description:
The Senior Construction Manager (Owners Representative) oversees construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This individual acts as a key liaison between the Korean-speaking client and local U.S.
-based contractors, facilitating clear communication, managing progress, and addressing project challenges. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and bilingual proficiency in English and Korean to ensure successful project execution.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversight: Manage daily on-site construction operations and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Coordination: Serve as the main communication bridge between the Korean-speaking client and English-speaking subcontractors and vendors.
- Scheduling: Monitor project timelines, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Quality: Review workmanship, safety practices, and compliance with codes and regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare progress updates and communicate key milestones to project stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.
- Representation: Uphold the clients interests while maintaining positive relationships with all project participants.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant construction management or owners representative experience.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean, both written and spoken to facilitate accurate communication between Korean-speaking clients and English-speaking contractors and stakeholders.
- Communication: Ability to liaise effectively between Korean-speaking clients and U.S.
-based English-speaking subcontractors. - Travel: Willingness to travel as required for project coordination and client meetings.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. construction standards, safety protocols, and project delivery methods.
