Experience with social science research methods and statistics Familiarity with academic publication process (journals and conferences) Ability to work on the computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face-to-face Working primarily remotely with occasional in person meetings in Fairfax, VA or Annapolis, MD areas Apply your behavioral science training to support innovative, real-world research for national security as part of a cutting-edge program.

In this role, you'll support project teams by contributing your academic knowledge and learning alongside experienced professionals. You'll assist with applying concepts from psychology and experimental design to help with study development, data collection, and basic analysis. You may help coordinate materials for program reviews or demonstration events and provide input when reviewing reports or research documents, particularly from a human cognition perspective.

This position is designed to give you hands-on experience while building practical skills in an applied research environment.
