Overview
District Endocrine is hiring for two full-time roles: BC/BE Endocrinologist and Nurse Practitioner. Both roles are on-site and are located in Burke, VA. The BC/BE Endocrinologist will provide specialized care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of endocrine system disorders. This includes creating personalized treatment plans for patients, interpreting diagnostic tests, and staying up-to-date on advancements in endocrinology. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the care team, providing patient assessments, prescribing medications, managing chronic conditions, and delivering patient education on endocrine health while supporting the supervising physician in complex cases.
Qualifications- Clinical skills in endocrinology diagnosis, treatment, and management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient care and collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Proficient in interpreting diagnostic results such as imaging studies and laboratory tests.
- For the Endocrinologist:
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology is required. - For the Nurse Practitioner:
Current Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure in Virginia are required. - Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and staying informed on advancements in the field.
Additional qualifications that would be preferred include prior experience in an outpatient endocrine care setting and proficiency with electronic health record systems.
