Position: Support Worker for Teen DP5677

Overview

We are looking for an active and friendly PA to provide ad hoc support of around 6 to 10 hours per week to a 15 year old who is working on developing his independence. Typically during weekday evenings on Tuesdays, Fridays and Thursdays 4-9 pm and alternate weekend days 12 pm to 8 pm, however these may vary depending on his needs and to be discussed  is currently a year 11 student and the PA would be there to aid him in his daily routines, social time when accessing the community and during his study time as he is working towards being more independent and gaining life skills.

Some other duties would include household chores such as cleaning, cooking, laundry etc. as well as providing him with encouragement when it comes to personal care tasks such as brushing teeth, haircare, etc. He enjoys motor sport, rapping, making videos, going to the gym and walking outdoors. A driving license with access to their own car is essential and care experience in Cerebral palsy, physio and OT therapies is preferred.

References and DBS required.
