A municipal government is seeking a Line Mechanic Apprentice to assist with the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground power transmission lines. Under supervision, the apprentice will learn to operate tools, maintain energized systems, and uphold safety standards. A high school diploma is required, alongside obtaining a California Class ‘C’ driver's license at appointment and a Class ‘A’ license within 18 months.
Candidates must be ready to comply with safety regulations and develop effective relationships on the job.
