Position: Special Events Sales Manager JN -032026-172313

High-impact sales leadership role owning the full lifecycle of premium special events — from prospecting and client presentations through contract execution and event coordination. The position drives revenue across corporate, nonprofit, wedding, and social segments while delivering exceptional, high‑touch client experiences in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Special Events Sales Manager – Responsibilities
  • Own full sales cycle from inquiry through execution
  • Meet or exceed booking and revenue goals
  • Drive sales across corporate, nonprofit, wedding, and social markets
  • Conduct compelling site tours and customized presentations
  • Negotiate contracts and maximize event profitability
  • Create accurate and detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Partner with culinary and banquet teams for flawless execution
  • Monitor events and resolve issues in real time
  • Represent the venue through networking and industry involvement
  • Maintain long-term client relationships for repeat business
Special Events Sales Manager – Requirements
  • 4+ years of catering or event sales experience
  • Experience in comparable high-volume venue preferred

    Proven ability to meet revenue targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Exceptional written communication
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Comfortable working under deadlines and time constraints
  • Positive, professional presence in client-facing settings

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
