Job Summary:

Supervise the service and delivery of menu items in assigned restaurant/bar ensuring a high level of quality and consistency. Adhere to federal, state and local regulations concerning health safety or other compliance requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Practice OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Train and schedule employees to ensure proper coverage. Monitor performance and recommend corrective action. Alert management of potentially serious issues.
  • Respond in a prompt and professional manner to guest requests and complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee check/credit policies and procedures.
  • Inspect restaurants daily to ensure high quality food and food presentation and cleanliness.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events. Review daily specials.
  • Ensure side work duties are complete and tables are set before, during and after operating hours.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
  • May routinely greet guests, and serve food and beverage.
  • Create or revise SOPS as per business needs.
  • Approve timesheets daily.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to handle alcoholic beverages.
  • 2 years minimum serving experience.
  • Ability to promote and sell products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize duties to ensure timely completion of job duties.
  • Require active listening, critical thinking, making decisions, time management and training and supervisory skills
  • Must possess basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may include morning, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
  • Possess/obtain valid RBS and Certified Food Handlers Card.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • F&B Supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for the duration of shift (eight hours or longer).
  • Ability to lift and/or move and/or push up to 25 pounds without assistance.
