Job Summary:The Senior Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the beverage program. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional knowledge of mixology and beverages, and a keen understanding of the upscale dining experience. This will also include collaboration with the culinary team to create a harmonious pairing of food and beverage offerings.

Pay: $85, / year
Responsibilities:Beverage Program Management
- Curate a diverse and high-quality beverage selection that complements the upscale dining experience.
- Maintain and update the beverage menu regularly, considering market trends, guests' preferences, and seasonal offerings.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing beverage supplies.
- Ensure accurate and efficient cost control measures are in place to optimize profitability in restaurant and banquets.
- Ensure accurate inventory operations that include weekly purchasing budgets that include banquet operations.
- Train and educate the staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and proper pouring and presentation.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, upselling skills, and adherence to service standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among the beverage team.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional beverage service and quality.
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews related to the beverage program, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings that enhance the overall guest experience.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to beverage service.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for responsible alcohol service.
- Ensure the proper storage, handling, and disposal of beverage products in accordance with safety and health guidelines.
- Extensive experience in managing beverage programs in upscale high volume dining establishments.
- Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, including current trends and industry best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
