Description

Provides basic nursing care to patients under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse; assists RN in observation and care of patients in assigned area(s). Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age‑specific patient population (infants to geriatrics) and participates in related continuing education.

• Deliver basic nursing care to patients under RN supervision.
• Assist RN in patient observation and area care.
• Provide care to patients across the age spectrum (infants, children, adults, elderly).
• Participate in continuing education related to nursing assistance.

• MOAB I/II within 30‑150 days of hire for employees in Emergency Dept., 2T, and PARC.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant training.
• CNA certificate, graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program, or equivalent experience (e.g., corpsman, EMT, foreign‑licensed RN/MD).
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

• Sufficient clinical experience.
