As Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) prepares for its next chapter, the Director, Global Transformation will shape and execute transformation strategies that position the organization for long-term success. This role requires expertise in problem solving, analytics, and change management across a complex business environment. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, a “doer,” and able to thrive in a dynamic, ever‑changing environment.

For the next 6‑9 months the majority of the work will focus on the separation. The role is a key member of the Separation team and will lead work streams, manage timelines, deliverables, tracking, and problem‑solve paths forward. The successful candidate must be able to hit the ground running as the separation is already well underway.

• Strategic Transformation
  • Manage transformation strategies aligned with WBD’s mission, values, and the evolving market landscape.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across business units on initiatives that drive growth and innovation.
• Data‑Driven Decision Making & Problem Solving
  • Structure high‑level and ambiguous problems soundly and develop clear insights using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Utilize analytics and business intelligence to develop data‑driven recommendations.
  • Partner with business leaders to define scope, goals, and KPIs for transformation initiatives.
• Change & Program Management
  • Lead planning and execution of work streams within large‑scale transformation programs or end‑to‑end management of smaller‑scale work.
  • Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, track progress, manage risks, and ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Establish governance and reporting mechanisms and provide regular updates to the GSVP Global Transformation.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings with stakeholders and internal team members.
• Operational Excellence & Innovation
  • Champion integration of digital technologies and AI to enhance content delivery, audience engagement, and internal workflows.
  • Develop plans to manage cross‑functional efforts to optimize processes, reduce complexity, and improve performance across global operations.
  • Partner with functional leaders to analyze current state processes, identify gaps, and design future state operating models.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to Transformation leaders and business leads on company‑wide initiatives.
  • Communicate goals, progress, and impact clearly and consistently to various stakeholders.
• Team Dynamics
  • Collaborate with other team members within the Global Transformation team, fostering strong relationships.
  • Be proactive, positive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

• 6+ years of experience in business transformation or strategy, ideally within media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
• Proven success managing cross‑functional projects in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem solving, with the ability to develop long‑term transformation plans.
• Strong analytical skills, experience gathering and analyzing data, and developing actionable recommendations.
• Experience managing change management programs and motivating the organization to embrace new ways of working.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Highly adaptable and flexible, comfortable in ambiguous and changing environments.
• Experience working in international markets with an understanding of cultural, regulatory, and operational differences.

Compensation
Pay Range: $ – $ per year, plus bonuses and other incentives.
