* Since 1923, Warner Bros. has been the industry leader in entertainment. Over that time, the company amassed an unparalleled collection of artifacts related to the stories it told - a collection that was formalized in 1992 with the creation of the Warner Bros. Archives. From production to consumer products to marketing and beyond, anything that is created by human endeavor at WBD is something that the Archives helps to preserve and protect.

The Archives offers paid internships throughout the year for currently enrolled  
** Graduate students in ALA-accredited Library Science or Archives Programs.*
* The ideal intern candidate is hardworking with a positive attitude, interested in a studio archive profession, detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and has previous internship or professional experience.

** Your Role Accountabilities*
* Duties could include:

+ Cataloging, metadata remediation, and/or crosswalk creation in support of data migration, data analysis, and archival system evaluations

+ Creation of documentation such as standard operating procedures, business requirements, and presentation decks

+ Evaluating and creating a processing, cataloging, and preservation plan for assets belonging to the Warner Bros. Historical Foundation

+ Participating in department meetings, shadowing managers, or attending executive-level meetings

+ Processing a collection of unique costumes, props, and/or set dec from the studio's extensive library of film and television titles

+ Assisting with internal audits and cataloging of internal research library, shelf-read of archival backlog, and creation of disposition plans

+ Supporting the installation of asset-related exhibitions and promotional events

** Qualifications & Experience*
* +  
** Currently enrolled Graduate student in ALA-accredited Library Science or Archives Programs*
* + Demonstrated interest in working as an archivist in a studio or corporate environment

+ Familiarity with metadata standards and implementation

+ Experience using asset management systems or other structured databases

+ Experience handling archival collections

+ Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

** Requirements*
* +  Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required ) (18 years or older)

+  Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA)

+  Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc.,

will not be eligible for the internship program.
