Job Summary

Associates in the Concierge role are committed to cultivating an environment and experience that make restaurant guests feel welcome. They provide exceptional guest relations by greeting restaurant patrons upon arrival, escorting them to their table, ensuring their dining experience has been excellent, and bidding guests farewell as they leave. Hosts/hostess are highly knowledgeable of all company safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and protocols, skilled at using Opentable and Point of Sale information (POSi) and other restaurant systems, and flexible in responding to operational needs with a “can-do” approach.

They also inspect restroom facilities and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure timely and prompt cleaning and sanitation.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour

Responsibilities
  • Performs all guest greeting and escorting, cleaning and sanitation, shift changing and closing, and restocking work activities in accordance with requirements outlined in the Concierge Manual, IDPRP manual, and management directives.
  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
  • Assist guests with reservations, seating arrangements, and any special requests.
  • Provide information about the restaurant's offerings, including menus, special events, and promotions.
  • Act as a liaison between guests and restaurant staff to ensure smooth communication and service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain a neat and organized lobby area, including keeping brochures and promotional materials up to date.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special arrangements for guests, such as private dining or event bookings.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance their experience.
  • Stay informed about local attractions, special events, and transportation options to provide recommendations and assistance to guests.
  • Answers telephone, processes and tracks reservations in Open Table according to established procedures.
Experience
  • 1 year of experiencing performing concierge or guest relations work activities.

Required Skills
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
