Respiratory Care Practitioner

Overview

Provides respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians according to established standards and practices. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to age-specific patient populations (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Deliver respiratory therapy services as ordered by physicians and ensure care adheres to established standards and practices. Participate in ongoing professional education and maintain competencies for applicable age groups and clinical settings.

• Sufficient for license/certification/registration.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
