The Pharmacy Business Manager provides leadership and oversight of business operations supporting home infusion, oral dose, and enteral nutrition business lines. Under the guidance of the director, the Manager has responsibility for development, implementation, support, and evaluation of business services, including:
- Front‑end revenue cycle – insurance benefits investigation, prior authorizations, and delivery ticket accuracy.
- Evaluation of new payer contracts and payer contract compliance.
- Vendor and payer contract tracking.
- Accounts payable process.
- Customer service and reception.
- Office supply management and telephone switchboard management.
- Ensuring key business documents (licenses, registrations, permits, and certifications) are current and up to date.
- Maintaining business and financial practices consistent with Providence policies and applicable State, Federal, pharmacy, and accreditation standards.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a closely related field (or equivalent education/experience).
- 4 years of management experience in a health care environment (pharmacy business‑related preferred).
- 3 years of pharmacy business‑related experience.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Lean and Six Sigma training and experience.
