Senior Procedural Scheduler - Multi Spec

Overview

This position schedules patients for surgery in inpatient and outpatient settings. Under minimal supervision, coordinates and schedules appointments for preoperative and postoperative office visits and testing.

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments for preoperative and postoperative visits and testing in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Schedule patients for surgery and coordinate related logistics under minimal supervision.
• Promote a team concept and reflect the Sisters of Providence mission, philosophy and values.
• Contribute to a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.

• Required qualifications:
• 5 years of healthcare experience.
• 2 years of scheduling experience in a medical office, ambulatory surgery center or outpatient hospital setting.

• Preferred qualifications:
• Some college coursework or training.
