Engineering Manager – WENCOR

This position reports directly to the President and is responsible for the engineering, planning, and coordination of overhaul, repair, and inspection activities at the Repair Station.

The Engineering Manager ensures compliance with all applicable FAA regulations and manufacturer recommendations, develops and implements inspection standards, and coordinates all engineering‑related operations to meet current and future company needs.

• Lead the engineering organization to ensure process alignment and consistency to maximize overall team performance.
• Establish and manage budgets related to personnel and projects, adapting to changing customer and market demands.
• Work with purchasing and supply chain.
• Provide technical support for the Repair Station.
• Manage the professional development and growth of the engineering team, overseeing goal setting, performance management, and specialized training requirements.
• Coordinate with customers to understand their needs and requirements.

• Evaluate figures, drawings, and step‑by‑step instructions to repair various aircraft components.
• Evaluate technical data to substantiate repair instructions, including stress analysis, free‑body diagrams, flight safety and failure analysis, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Evaluate equivalencies for tooling and consumables to support repair activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the company to address evolving business needs.
• Participate in or lead corrective action teams as requested.
• Participate in or lead continuous improvement projects as requested.
• Participate in or lead capital projects as requested.
