General Surgeon

Overview

Facey Medical Group is developing a new General Surgery unit serving the greater Burbank, California area. We are seeking board-eligible/board-certified General Surgeons to join the team, with multiple full-time positions available. These roles will be based at the Burbank facility, with surgeries performed at local hospitals and surgery centers. The General Surgeons will perform gastrointestinal surgery, hernia surgery, breast surgery, and other facets of general surgery.

Comfort with advanced laparoscopic and/or robotic procedures is beneficial, and expertise in colorectal surgery is highly desired. Call is generally 1:4.

• Perform gastrointestinal surgery, hernia surgery, breast surgery, and other general surgery procedures.
• Utilize advanced laparoscopic and/or robotic techniques where appropriate.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and surgical staff to ensure quality patient care.

• Board-eligible or board-certified General Surgeon.
• Ability to work full-time; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience or interest in colorectal surgery is highly desired.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; willingness to participate in 1:4 call schedule.

Compensation is between $407,000 and $490,000 per year. The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by the medical group. This salary range is provided in accordance with State law and may vary due to the factors noted above.
