POSITION SUMMARY
The Sunwave Creative team at Nordic Naturals is seeking an in‑house Video Editor with a strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and brand consistency to support our Creative Production team. This role will be primarily focused on editing short‑form video content, including 15–30 second commercials and social media assets, with some light motion graphics work as needed. This position sits within the Creative Production team, which produces and shoots video and still content at Sunwave Studio in Burbank, CA.
The role is hybrid, with most work performed remotely and occasional in‑studio days as production needs require. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented, self‑directed editor who works efficiently, takes feedback well, and understands how to create engaging, polished content for modern digital platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with Producers, Designers, and Brand teams to deliver high‑quality video assets.

- Edit short‑form video content (typically 15–30 seconds, occasionally up to 2 minutes) for paid advertising, branded content, organic social media, and occasional internal projects.
- Edit primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Organize, assemble, and manage raw footage, stock assets, and project files.
- Source, cut, and integrate music tracks as needed.
- Perform basic color correction and visual adjustments.
- Optimize and format content for various platforms, including Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Amazon, and streaming platforms.
- Implement feedback and revisions from Creative and Brand teams using Ziflow.
- Package and deliver final, approved assets.
- Organize and archive completed projects following internal workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Producers and the Creative Director to ensure all edits align with Sunwave’s brand voice and visual standards.
- Create and integrate simple motion graphics, such as animated text, lower thirds, and basic graphic animations.
- Work in Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effects for light motion design needs.
- Willingness to learn new software and techniques (such as Omi.so).
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a small creative team.
- Communicate clearly with Producers and Creative leadership.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose practical solutions.
- Support additional production needs as determined by leadership.
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience, with a strong emphasis on short‑form branded content.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required).
- Experience with Photoshop and/or Lightroom is a plus.
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of platform‑specific content requirements and audience engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (remote with occasional in‑studio or on‑location days).
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with post‑production workflows and asset delivery.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
