You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old. They are a joy to drive and equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leather seats and many optional extras to make sure you’re comfortable.

Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45‑hour working weeks and 9‑hour shifts per day which typically start at 7/8 am. Our well‑organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance where you’ll be driving, taking the stress out of your day.

• We don’t micromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes. The average number of stops in a shift is 4‑6, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy the open road while still being home again at the end of every 9‑hour shift.
• You’ll make sure cages, pallets, freight, stillages and yokes get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you; at others you’ll need to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.
• You’ll be responsible for inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and completing a Defect Report if necessary.

• Class 1 Driving licence
