Job Description
Pay:
Starting pay $20.50 per hour; $1 per hour differential for night shift
Schedule Available: 4x10 (four 10-hour shifts), starting on night shift
Environment:
Warehouse environment with ambient/dry, refrigerator, and freezer temperatures
If you’re up for a new opportunity in an exciting environment unlike any other, the Dot Foods warehouse team needs you. As a warehouse worker, you’ll use various warehouse machinery to navigate our warehouses and assemble customer orders safely and efficiently.
While it’s a physical job, you don’t need to be the biggest or strongest in order to succeed. You just need to have the right attitude and the ability to stay focused and organized. Our seasoned team of trainers and safety experts will make sure you’re set up for success from day one.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Pull, pack, and ship orders consistently and accurately
- Lift cases—cases weigh an average of 14 pounds, 35-60 pounds on the high end
- Pick product from high shelves
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Obtain required forklift certification during our in-house training
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a standard physical abilities test to ensure you can meet the physical demands of the job
- Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to safely operate powered equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience
- Background in production-based job
- Schedule:
Full-time with four ten-hour shifts per week, either all days or all nights (depending on availability) - Multi-temperature warehouse environments:
-5° (frozen warehouse), 36° (refrigerated warehouse), and ambient temperatures (dry warehouse) - Bonuses available with each paycheck if productivity levels are met
- 40 hours of vacation time available after six months at Dot; 80 hours of vacation time available after one year at Dot
