Position: Travel RN (Registered Nurse) Night Shift

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Telemetry (Night Shift)

  • Location: Within 50 miles of Bullhead City, AZ
  • Facility Type: Hospital
  • Weekly Salary: 3000.00
  • Night Shift: 1830 – 0700
  • Day Shift (Occasional): 0630 – 1800
  • No On-Call Required
  • Floating: May be required to float as needed across units
  • Note: No 48-hour guarantee
Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the night shift
. This role involves caring for a mix of ICU and step-down patients, utilizing telemetry monitoring, and working in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong ICU background, the ability to adapt to floating assignments, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
  • Active Arizona RN License (or compact state license valid in AZ)
  • Certifications

    Required:

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NIH Stroke Certification
  • 2+ years recent ICU experience required
  • Preferred:

    Experience with
    Impella and IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) devices
  • ICU: 1:2
  • Step Down: 1:3
  • EMR System: Med Host
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and care for acutely ill patients in the med-surg/telemetry unit
  • Respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions and elevate appropriately
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
  • Accurately document care provided using Med Host EMR
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Demonstrate flexibility in floating to other units as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with Impella and IABP support devices
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment
