Position: Salesperson/Store Driver  Store 7884

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and basic part knowledge. It involves sourcing parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers, as well as maintaining store inventory and supporting maintenance processes. The position can be part‑time or full‑time, and fleet safety certification is preferred.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customers during visits and phone calls.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and help the store achieve its sales targets.
  • Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper blade installs.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards.
  • Manage inventory processes such as truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back‑stock handling.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facings, dusting, and parking lot.
  • Perform general stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stock management.
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Success Factors
  • Basic driving and navigation ability.
  • Ability to use the delivery board system.
  • Friendly communication and strong customer relationships.
  • Skill in locating and stocking parts.
  • Safety knowledge and operational skill with inventory systems, POS, and parts lookup systems.

Store Driver

Role Overview

Entry level store position capable of supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role involves delivering parts to commercial customers, assisting with inventory processes, and supporting task management. The position can be part‑time or full‑time, and fleet safety certification is required.

Primary Responsibilities for the Driver
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
  • Pick up returns and cores.
  • Drop off weekly or monthly sales flyers.
  • Collect daily credit accounts.
Secondary Responsibilities for the Driver
  • Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facings, dusting, and parking lot.
  • Perform general stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stock management.

Physical Demands

Walking or standing for most of the shift; frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds; ability to use hands and fingers, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, depth, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations are available.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
