Service Coordinator
Location: Buford, GA
Schedule: In-office, Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $60,000–$70,000 per year

We are a commercial construction and roofing contractor seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join our growing Service & Repair Department in Buford, GA. This role is ideal for someone with a background in property management, general contracting, or roofing who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Experience with CRM software, particularly Dataforma, is a plus.
As a Service Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers while managing work orders, scheduling and dispatching crews, and ensuring accurate billing. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality service and supporting the continued growth of the company.
Responsibilities- Manage all customer communication via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner
- Accurately process work order requests and ensure all required details are captured
- Schedule and dispatch service crews to job sites with clear and timely communication
- Provide consistent updates to customers regarding work order status, delays, or changes
- Review field notes and photo documentation submitted by technicians and request missing information as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing in accordance with customer-specific billing requirements
- Identify work orders requiring follow-up quotes and collaborate with the Service Manager to prepare proposals
- Maintain and manage customer billing portals and work order systems with up-to-date information
- Ensure all contracts are billed in compliance with required documentation and lien waivers
- Generate reports using software and reporting tools to provide insights to leadership
- Coordinate with subcontractors to support timely completion of work orders
- Review customer accounts and contracts regularly to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with leadership to improve processes, service quality, and operational efficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of customer service or administrative experience (construction or roofing preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software (Dataforma experience a plus)
- Working knowledge of invoicing, billing, and basic accounting principles
- Experience using customer billing portals
- Ability to adapt to new systems and technology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience coordinating schedules and resources
- Basic familiarity with contract documents
- General understanding of commercial roofing and building systems is a plus
