CDL Yard Driver

Overview

Join to apply for the Part Time CDL Yard Driver role at Lactalis American Group based in Buffalo, NY. The position is a Part‑time CDL Yard Driver responsible for daily yard operations and safe transport of Lactalis products to and from distribution centers.

• Conduct movement of trailers in yard and to off‑site storage local locations.
• Maintain adherence to all safety programs.
• Support the truck maintenance schedule.
• Perform and log yard tasks using the yard management system and in‑cab tablets.
• Support required yard audits to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and that product temperatures are maintained.
• Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment that promotes the health and wellbeing of all employees.
• Travel and/or extended or off‑work hours may be required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in transportation and/or commercial driving (previous yard experience preferred).
• CDL‑A license required.
• Clean MVR (driving record) and ability to complete pre‑hire DOT drug screening & DOT physical.
• Ability to perform the essential duties with reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour (based on experience).
