This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Structured Cabling & Fiber Technician
.

The Lead Technician will oversee and participate in the installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and fiber systems. This position requires leading small crews, ensuring projects meet certification standards, and maintaining clean, professional job sites.

This is not an entry-level position — we are looking for someone who can lead and execute at a high level.

• Lead and manage small cabling crews (2–4 technicians)
• Install, terminate, and certify Cat6/Cat6A cabling
• Perform fiber termination and testing
• Oversee rack, MDF, and IDF buildouts
• Read and interpret blueprints and riser diagrams
• Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers and clients as needed

• 4+ years of structured cabling experience
• Proven experience with Cat6 and fiber installation, termination, and testing
• Experience with Fluke certification testing
• Strong understanding of rack buildouts and cable management
• Ability to work independently and lead teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with safety protocols and jobsite standards
• Valid driver’s license

• $28 - $36 per hour depending on experience
