Building Maintenance Engineer

Location: Buffalo, NY (14207)

Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift | On-site (single facility)

We’re hiring a skilled Building Maintenance Engineer to take ownership of the day-to-day reliability and performance of our facility. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and keeping building systems operating at peak efficiency. You’ll support one dedicated site, eliminating the chaos of multi-location service work.

As our on-site maintenance expert, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and continuous improvement of all building systems, including:

• Maintain, inspect, and service HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and lighting systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC equipment and building automation controls
• Perform component-level HVAC replacements and upgrades
• Complete electrical work including conduit bending, wire pulls, troubleshooting panels, and motor maintenance
• Support plumbing, refrigeration, and general mechanical systems
• Conduct interior and exterior facility repairs including lighting, structural elements, and general upkeep
• Track parts, tools, and supplies to ensure proper inventory levels
• Proactively identify system improvements and reliability risks

• 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC/building maintenance
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration
• Ability to troubleshoot systems independently and follow safety protocols
• Comfort working hands‑on in a fast‑paced, self‑directed environment

• EPA Universal Certification
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Experience working with building automation systems

• Boilers or steam systems
• Carpentry or light construction
• General facility or plant maintenance experience

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo, NY.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
