Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances. The role involves completing work orders promptly, conducting property inspections to identify maintenance needs, and preparing vacant units for new tenants. Additionally, the technician will respond to emergency maintenance requests and maintain the grounds, common areas, and building exteriors.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances).
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants (turnovers, painting, minor repairs).
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and building exteriors.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and completed tasks.

The main building is Turtle Creek Apartments, consisting of 123 units built in 2009, located in Getzville, NY. You will also work at another smaller property with 24 units, approximately 1-2 times a week. The shift is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with on-call duties every other week. Mileage reimbursement is provided for driving between sites.

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo, NY.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Buffalo,NY.
