The Security Installation Technician I will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems. This role requires a blend of technical skills and customer service excellence to ensure that each installation meets the highest standards.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Electronic Security Installation Technician I to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems, including access control systems, video surveillance systems, and intrusion detection systems.

• Assist senior technicians in installing, configuring, and testing security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access control systems.
• Learn to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security equipment.
• Help in the preparation and organization of installation materials and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to build knowledge and skills in security technology.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• A sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in security systems and technology.
• Basic understanding of electronics or electrical systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, work extended hours, and travel independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Previous experience in a related field is an advantage but not required.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, PSA) are a plus.
• Experience with specific security brands or systems is beneficial.

• Able to safely work at heights on ladders and aerial lifts.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and perform overhead work for long periods.
• Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of application and meet our company driving standards.

The base pay range for this role is $20.25 - $32.75 hourly, with overtime available. Note that wage may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base wage as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
