Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location;
Monitor access points and interior spaces during patrols, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or local public partners as directed;
Complete routine security-related reports, incident logs, and activity documentation, and communicate key information during shift changes to support continuity of operations
