Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Use and manage day-to-day operation of alarm, CCTV and access control equipment, including coordinating service with vendors.
- Coordinate the daily activities of the Security Control Room, Search area and Operations relating to Security.
- Train security personnel (contract and in-house) in all security policies, procedures and duties.
- Maintain daily reports, logs and schedules.
- Assist Security Manager in implementing security procedures/policies that protect the company's people, assets and information.
- Assist Security Officers in ensuring the safety and security of people, materials and classified documents.
- Assist Security Manager in identifying and analyzing risks and reporting concerns.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year in a leadership security role.
- Preferred:
Security experience in a high-security/high-value commodity organization. - Must have a valid NYS Security Officer License and keep it current.
Pay Range: $31.50 - $43.50 per hour. Base salary varies with experience, education, performance and location.
