The Account Manager, assigned to a defined territory, is a critical role within Wurth MSM, responsible for the overall management, profitability, and revenue growth of aligned accounts. This individual is the main point of contact for customers – driving revenue activation, growth, and opportunity expansion.
The Account Manager will work cross functionally with all internal teams, to ensure exceptional service levels, revenue growth, profitability, and exceed customer expectations. Must continually generate new business while continuing to service the existing territory base. This involves calling on existing customer base plus cold calling of potential customers within the defined sales territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Travel the defined territory to grow business through direct face to face contact with customer base.
- Build customer relationships through face-to-face interactions, telephone conversations, e‑mail correspondences, and virtual meetings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, to develop and service new and existing business.
- Plan, implement, and execute sales strategy to include quarterly business reviews, price maintenance, negotiations, profitability, and revenue growth.
- Utilize CRM, Hubspot, as a tool to track opportunities, and drive the business.
- Utilize data from reporting to drive strategy, growth and profitability.
