Outside Sales Representative

Syracuse, NY

P&M Sales is currently searching for a full-time Outside Sales Representative to join their team in Syracuse, New York!

We are a manufacturer’s representative specializing the sale of electrical products, which we sell throughout the six New England states, through a network of stocking distributors.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial B2B sales
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute strategic sales initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Eagerness to master product knowledge, manufacturing processes, and customer industries
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Grow Revenue: Drive sales growth by promoting our full product portfolio within your assigned territory.
  • Prospect Strategically: Identify and engage potential clients through targeted outreach and relationship development.
  • Build & Maintain Relationships: Strengthen connections with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Become a Product Expert: Develop a thorough understanding of our products, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Train and Educate: Conduct engaging product training sessions for distributors and end-users, emphasizing use cases and value.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, customers, and business partners.
  • Deliver Market Insights: Report customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities to leadership and manufacturing partners.
