Sales Representative - New Installations

Your main responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information to locate sources for sales of company products and services.
  • Learn how to perform preliminary design work with architects and general contractors; develop budgets and schedules; read and understand job plans & specifications; prepare estimates, bid proposals, and make presentations to win the sale.
  • Meet and/or exceed assigned sales and customer objectives.
  • Analyze customer needs and secure desirable business through application of company products and services.
  • Maintain favorable client relationships.
  • Assess and follow customer complaints to satisfactory resolution.
  • Communicate to both customer and internal operations the necessary information to assure customer satisfaction and achieve sales cost objective.
  • Develop negotiating strategies with minimum monitoring by management.
  • Plan, develop and implement sales strategies on specific negotiations that are consistent with internal product strategy while, at the same time, fully reflective of customer requirements and competitive offerings.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting or Engineering and 5+ years of sales experience is required. In lieu of degree, high school diploma and 6+ years of technical experience in the elevator industry or sales experience required.
  • Elevator industry or business-to-business sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software, Lotus Notes and SAP is preferred.

Base Salary $74,800 - $93,500. The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include commissions or longer-term incentives.
