Responsibilities- Conduct routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, including assays, tissue culture, electrophoresis, PCR, DNA extraction, microscopy, animal work, and other laboratory techniques.
- Record test results, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and monitor animal colonies.
- Provide technical assistance to postdocs, graduate students and other research staff within the group.
- Assist in small animal (mouse) handling and surgeries, and participate in experiments involving cellular and molecular biology assays.
- Manage and care for the animal colony.
- Maintain lab equipment, prepare stock solutions, and place orders based on lab needs.
