As a private, family‑owned and operated veterinary practice group, we provide comprehensive general, emergency and specialty services across Western New York. With 10 hospitals—including a 24/7 ER & specialty center and a cat‑only practice—we offer a wide range of services, including advanced surgery, oncology, neurology, rehab and more.
Our facilities are equipped with in‑house Idexx lab equipment, digital x‑ray and digital dental, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic laser, ocular tonometry, sevoflurane anesthesia, blood products, acupuncture, force triad and complete pharmacy. Our Green Acres location offers MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy and echocardiography.

Role descriptionBVG is growing and as a result, we are actively hiring for the following additional Veterinary Specialists to join our team:
- Ophthalmologist
- Cardiologist
- Experienced Surgeon (board‑certified or residency trained preferred)
- Dentist
- Criticalist
- Dermatologist
- Oncologist
- First established in 1954 and expanded to providing 24‑hour care in 2008
- Family owned, privately owned
- Brand new, state‑of‑the‑art, 35,000 sq. ft. facility on a 2‑acre campus
- MRI, CT, Endoscopy, Ultrasound, 3 state‑of‑the‑art surgical suites & dental suite
- Full Idexx suite, blood products, blood gas, coagulation testing, etc.
- 16+ doctors, 30 LVTs and a growing staff that is currently at 80+!

Starting base salary: 250,000–350,000+k/yr (negotiable based on experience) plus additional bonus incentives. Relocation assistance available.

Qualifications- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New York (or able to apply)
- Board certification or nearing completion of residency program in applicable specialty area
