Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg/Telemetry.
This position involves working 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Every other weekend and holiday availability is required.
The nurse will care for patients post-PCI, pacemakers, and AICDs, as well as those who have experienced Myocardial Infarctions.
Key responsibilities include IV therapy, blood product administration, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response.
The nurse must be skilled in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias.
Experience with wound care and isolation precautions is also essential.
The nurse will work within a 26-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
Floating within the skill set may be required.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
Candidates must possess the required certifications before applying.
Assertive and compassionate care is expected from all staff members.
