Shift 1

To assist in the planning, direction and structure of the clinical activities for the Operating rooms.

Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse/RN Permit required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire regulatory required. For OR Service Leader BSN preferred. CNOR preferred.

Two (2) years OR nursing experience required. Two years-experience within the past 3 years in Primary Specialty Service (Ophthalmology, Dental), evidenced by a majority of current work in Primary Specialty Minor specialties assigned require a basic working knowledge of supplies and equipment.
