FTE : 0.9375 Summary ResponsibilitiesCompetency in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and biotherapy regimens to include administration, management of side effects, and reactions;
Assessment of a patient's condition and implementing plan of care;
Monitor and documentation of vital signs and assessments;
Providing education for patient and family pertaining to drug therapies;
Competency pertaining to infusion and transfusion therapies;
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care needs are met and supported in an outpatient setting;
Acting as patient advocates; BLS required;
Chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification required to maintain, and course offered upon start.

Education and Experience License Requirement
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
Education and ExperienceThe preferred candidate will have good IV skills, competency of PICC and port access; OCN certification and Ambulatory Oncology Knowledge.
