Local Team Collaboration:

• Become part of our close-knit team of 12 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.
• Work alongside clinicians from diverse backgrounds who are supportive and collaborative.
• Enjoy a great relationship with our efficient medical staff office, making the privileging process smooth and easy.
• Take advantage of opportunities to lead or join various committees.

• Board-certified or board-eligible nurse practitioner.
• Hospitalist experience is preferred; hospitalist training is required.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Enjoy a flexible schedule with full-time positions following a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
• Day shifts run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, while night shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• We value work-life balance, so we cover for each other when needed, ensuring everyone can spend time with family or enjoy the outdoors.

• As a day clinician, round on approximately fourteen patients per shift and manage discharges as appropriate.
• Night clinicians will handle three admissions along with cross coverage.
• Work in a closed ICU with intensivists available 24/7—no procedures or codes required!
• We welcome candidates interested in full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.
• Utilize EPIC EMR and access our internal informatics platform for streamlined operations.

• Compensation: Base salary ranges from $140k to $150k for day shifts and $170k for night shifts.
  • Receive a $25,000 commencement bonus for the Nocturnist position.
