To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience as a Mill Machinist in a manufacturing setting.
- In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.
- Perform a complete range of milling operations on all types of material using vertical mills, and tracer-type milling machines.
- Set up and operate a vertical mill.
- Make all set-ups using specified equipment.
- Occasionally develop new methods and machining techniques.
- Interpret drawings, occasionally work without operation sheets, and make difficult layouts.
- Need to work, at times, with minimum guidance.
- Inspect all work performed and detect unusual conditions, defective materials, and defective parts using different inspection equipment and processes.

- 2nd and 3rd shift employees receive 10% shift differential pay.
