? Structural Welder – First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

PAY: $26-31+/HR

- Work with a team of skilled tradespeople on custom, high‑impact projects
- Weld and fabricate structural components for custom filtration skids
- Work with aluminum, stainless steel, and various structural metals
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and build specifications
- Ensure all welds meet strict safety, quality, and project requirements
- Perform inspections and tests to verify structural integrity
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and fabrication area
- Collaborate with team members to solve fabrication challenges
- Assist in mentoring junior welders as needed
- Minimum 3 years of structural/MIG welding experience; TIG competency preferred
- Proficiency welding aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steels
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, prints, and schematics
- Strong understanding of welding safety standards and shop safety practices
- Experience performing quality checks and structural weld inspections
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to maintain a safe, organized, efficient workspace
- Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
- Familiarity with PPE standards and shop safety protocols
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
Work in a hands‑on, industrial fabrication shop alongside experienced welders and fabricators. The production floor is:
- Open and well‑ventilated
- Not climate‑controlled (seasonal temperature changes apply)
- Active with fabrication, assembly, and material movement
- PPE‑required to maintain safety around welding, cutting, and heavy equipment
Your day will include standing, bending, lifting, and working directly with metal components and welding equipment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
