Senior Manufacturing Engineer - 5-Axis Milling

• Lead the development of manufacturing processes for new aerospace components.
• Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives across engineering teams.
• Create and prove out N/C programs, operation sequences, work holding design concepts, tooling/gauge lists, and detailed work instructions.
• Support and improve existing production processes through hands-on shop floor engagement.
• Estimate time standards, labor ratios, and economic run quantities for complex parts.
• Generate detailed cost estimates for new business and process improvements.
• Evaluate and implement new capital equipment and manufacturing technologies.
• Collaborate daily with engineers, technicians, operations staff, quality teams, and suppliers to resolve process issues and mentor peers.
• Lead projects and potentially own the engineering portion of a dedicated manufacturing cell.
• Support automated manufacturing cells to reduce labor and variability.

• A bachelors degree in a technical field with 5+ years of relevant professional experience, or an associate degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of proven professional experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience in 5-Axis CNC Milling programming using CAD/CAM (NX experience preferred, but not required).
• Proven experience in end-to-end process engineering from raw material to finished product.
• Hands-on machining experience, including setup and operation.
• Expertise in machining a variety of materials (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, work holding, and fixture design.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
