Lathe Machinist II - 2nd Shift
East Aurora, NY – Onsite. Second Shift. Reporting to:
Leader, Performance.
- Work under minimum supervision and assist in planning work and solving problems within the cell.
- Perform set‑ups and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to achieve tight tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometry.
- Inspect all work performed, set up or adjust gaging equipment, detect unusual conditions and deviant parts, and when needed recognize errors in blueprints and operation sheets.
- Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets.
- High School diploma or GED preferred; if not, demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English, and perform simple arithmetic.
- At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist, working with lathe machines that have milling capabilities.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of G‑Code (preferred).
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls (plus).

- Shift differential pay of 10% for 2nd and 3rd shift employees.
Buffalo, NY: $28.00–$32.00 per hour.

Actual salaries will vary based on location, experience, and performance. The range is one component of Moog’s total compensation package.
