Machine Repair Technician III - 3rd Shift at Moog Inc.

Location:

East Aurora, NY (on-site). Training on 1st shift; the position may be designated to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift based on opening needs.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Repair Technician knowledgeable in all aspects of machinery operation, maintenance, and repair, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computer control systems.

• Effectively and safely troubleshoot and repair complex machinery in a team or solo environment, including precise alignments in multiple planes on advanced equipment in often awkward ergonomic positions.
• Support Moog East Aurora production requirements; maintain and repair machinery in an effective and timely manner.
• Utilize the CMMS system (Maximo) to document work logs, inventory usage, and hours worked.
• Maintain personal PC-related skills as new software is released and implemented.
• Stay current on new machine technologies through OEM and other training as required.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support machine acquisitions and training.
• Follow all applicable safety standards, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out, NFPA 70E, and Hazardous Material Handling.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technologies or a related skilled-trades field is highly desired.
• Typically 5 years of experience as a repair technician, machinist, or other skilled-trades role with some CNC repair experience.
• Minimum of 3 years repairing CNC machine tools as a primary occupation.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge to perform various machine maintenance tasks, including complex CNC repairs, machine installations, preventive and predictive maintenance, material handling, rigging, forklift operation, and hazardous materials handling.

Buffalo, NY: $36.05–$43.75 per hour.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of Moog's salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salary depends on location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, and region-specific benefits.
