Fluent, in exclusive partnership with Connected New York, is hiring for positions at our new state-of-the-art cultivation facility in Buffalo, New York. Connected is a vertically integrated cannabis company based in Sacramento, operating in California, Arizona, and Florida. With over 11 years of experience, Connected specializes in breeding, growing, manufacturing, and distributing cannabis through its facilities and proprietary genetics. With over 250 employees across the United States, Connected is expanding into New York through a master services agreement with Fluent. Connected’s mission is to breed, grow, and sell the best cannabis in the world, setting high standards for its products, people, and partners.

We are looking for new Production team members to join our growing team in Buffalo. This is a full-time, hourly position with great benefits. Paid, on-the-job training is provided for the right individuals. We seek reliable, motivated, positive team members who are excited about joining the cannabis industry.

• Perform all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products, including trimming and weighing cannabis flower
• Weigh, assemble, and package cannabis flower into prerolls
• Apply compliance labels to all packaged product
• Track and weigh packaging/production projects as assigned by supervisors
• Accurately count, process, and pack finished goods for distribution
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment; follow standard work methods
• Maintain equipment in good working condition
• Meet established goals as designated by the Production Lead and/or Production Manager
• Other duties as assigned

• 1-2 years of prior dry trim experience preferred but not required
• Physical ability to sit, squat, stand, kneel, bend, or walk throughout the workday
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Previous cannabis experience or 1-2 years of production experience in distribution preferred
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Available to work between 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime and weekend work
• Dependable and punctual with strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and stay focused in a changing environment

The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.00. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

• Requires normal vision, ability to see color and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance
• Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift
• Normal hearing range
